Overview

Situated in the vibrant heart of Cebu City, Olive & Figs offers a culinary escape that balances city buzz with a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Located conveniently at Unit A5, The Esplanade along Salinas Drive, this restaurant brings a refined yet approachable dining experience to locals and visitors alike, especially those near IT Park.

The menu at Olive & Figs presents a diverse selection that caters to different cravings without overwhelming the guest. From hearty Steak Bites and a standout Tomahawk Pork Chop to fresh salads, flavorful pasta, and a notably exceptional Korean-style chicken sandwich, the offerings are thoughtfully curated. Each dish highlights quality ingredients and careful preparation, capturing bold and nuanced flavors without unnecessary embellishment.

One of the main attractions is the Tomahawk Pork Chop, praised repeatedly for its tenderness and juiciness—a centerpiece worthy of any occasion. The Steak Bites deliver perfectly seared, tender cuts with a subtle spicy kick that complements rather than overpowers. For those seeking lighter fare or shared plates, the salads and boneless fried chicken provide versatile options that blend freshness and comfort. The cocktail menu also deserves mention, with concoctions like the Mango Paradise offering a fruity, refreshing finish to the meal.

Beyond the food, the space at Olive & Figs stands out for its inviting ambiance. Whether it's a personal celebration, a business lunch, or a quiet date night, the calming and tasteful interior enhances each dining moment. The layout includes an upper area suited for private events, though care can be taken as noise levels may rise during bookings.

Service here strikes a balance between attentive and unobtrusive. Guests comment on friendly, accommodating staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and quick to assist. This level of service enriches the overall experience, creating a comfortable environment for different types of diners—from professionals to couples seeking a chill night out.

While the restaurant impresses with cleanliness and atmosphere, minor instances such as daytime brightness or an occasional unnoticed fly have been noted, though these do little to detract from the overall welcome and quality Olive & Figs provides.

In essence, Olive & Figs is a solid choice for those who want a taste of elevated comfort food in a stylish yet unpretentious setting. Its proximity to Cebu’s IT Park adds to its appeal, making it a practical and pleasurable dining destination. Whether savoring the tender pork chop, grilling over the flavorful steak bites, or simply unwinding with a cocktail after a busy day, this restaurant delivers a memorable experience that invites guests to return.

If you're looking for a restaurant near IT Park with a relaxing vibe, Olive & Figs is a solid choice. I tried their Steak Bites and Tomahawk Pork Chop — both were flavorful, well-cooked, and reasonably priced. Great value for the quality you get! They also offer a good variety on the menu including salads, pasta, and boneless fried chicken, making it perfect for any kind of craving. The ambiance is cozy and calming, ideal for personal celebrations, business lunches, or even date nights. Service is satisfactory, and they also serve cocktails — perfect for a nightcap. Overall, a great spot if you want something chill yet close to the city buzz. Will definitely come back!

Their Pork Chop was incredibly juicy and tender. I loved their salad and their nachos too! Serving time was around 20 minutes and when we were there, the upper area was booked for a private event and it was crazy noisy. But overall, the interior was nice and the food was great too.

EXCEPTIONAL. Everything about this place is a level above the rest. The menus were artistic and highly presentable. Service was friendly and attentive. The food—oh wow was the food great. I had their Korean style chicken sandwich and fiancé had their BBQ set/platter and we had calamansi juice to drink. Best chicken sandwich I have EVER had.

Ate here last June, only 1 other table had a customer (but probably because I was there around 4pm). Ordered: Steak Bites, Truffle Fries, and Mango Paradise Steak Bites (P545) - it was standard seared steak cut into cuboids(lol cube unta ako gibutang diri pero di man diay cube), sauteed with mushrooms, bell peppers and olives. The steak was tender, and the flavor was good raman sad, although there's not really much into it, I think the praise here would go more to the good quality of ingredients used. 7.5/10 Truffle Fries (P295) - for a place like this, I would have preferred and expected a bit of thicker cuts for the potato. Although, the fries were perfectly crispy outside and still a bit soft and fluffy inside so it was still very good for me. The flavor was also good, the truffle oil flavor was present but it was not very overpowering, which was perfect. 8.5/10 Mango Paradise (P380) - I wanted this to be better, but I think there was something lacking (for me). I guess I was expecting too much because my favorite fruit is mango, and it was recently mango season (so I had eaten a lot of mangoes the past few months prior to this). Yes there are mango notes on this, but I'm not sure I think I should try it again soon and try to look for what I was missing here. The cocktail was still good though, there was just something I was looking for that made me feel this way. 6/10 The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially in telling me about their menu, specialties, and so on. The place was great too, although it may be exceptionally bright during daytime. My only problem with the place was I saw 1 fly near me buzzing annoyingly, I tried to bugaw (unsay english ani oy haha) it exaggeratedly pero wala man niduol ang staff wa guro kabantay (wa sad ko gatan-aw nila ) TL;DR: Was the food good? Yes Worth the money? Kind of almost on the higher end, but Yes Were the staff friendly? Yes Was the place visibly clean? Yes (except for 1 fly) My overall experience here was 7.5/10

Food was good and service was great. Quiet place to eat and have a chat. This burger meal was 595 and mango shake was 260. Burger was thick, juicy, and flavorful and didn’t need thick sauces to taste good so it wasn’t umay at all and I enjoyed it immensely! Fries were thick and crispy. Will definitely be back for more.

We had a birthday dinner here and the staff were attentive and served food in a timely manner. We were the only customers at the time so the place felt intimate and private. We ordered a bit from their menu and what stood out was the tomahawk steak and their salad. I also liked the spicy sauce for their calamares.

We ate at Olive and Figs on my birthday, and honestly? It turned out to be such a cozy and memorable celebration. It wasn’t crowded at all when we arrived, which made the whole place feel peaceful and intimate — just what I needed for a chill birthday dinner. The ambiance was calm, warm, and perfect for slow conversations over good food. The staff were really boutan and accommodating. They were polite, attentive, and never intrusive. I appreciated how they made us feel welcome without hovering too much — just the right balance of good service. For starters, we ordered the Nacho Libre and Truffle Fries. Then for our mains, we had the Tomahawk Pork Chop, Steak Bites, and Sweet & Spicy Korean Fried Chicken. Lami silang tanan, but my top favorites would definitely be the Tomahawk and the Nacho Libre. The tomahawk was so flavorful, tender, and juicy — every bite made me say “Lamia oy, grabe!” It was hands down the highlight of the night. As for the nachos, even though I can’t fully describe the exact taste anymore (kay super excited nako ato nga night), I just remember how much I enjoyed it. It really stood out, and it became my second favorite after the tomahawk — which says a lot because usually nachos don’t leave that strong of an impression sa akoa — but this one did! The Korean Fried Chicken was coated perfectly and had a satisfying sweet and spicy flavor, while the Steak Bites and Truffle Fries were both solid, flavorful choices that rounded out the meal. Overall, Olive and Figs gave me exactly what I needed for my birthday — a relaxed atmosphere, genuinely good food, and warm, friendly service. I left full, happy, and with one of the best birthday dinner memories I’ve had. Super worth it, and definitely a place I’d go back to again.
